For nearly a quarter of a century, Buttar, Caldwell & Co. has stood as a trusted name in law, providing considered counsel and strong advocacy across personal injury, corporate and commercial law, family matters, and human rights.
Founded in 2000, the firm honours the legacy of Mr Bill Caldwell QC and the vision of Principal Lawyer Pervaiz Buttar, whose family has practised law across generations and continents. What began as a boutique practice has evolved into a respected firm defined by insight, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to those we represent.

Pervaiz Buttar
PRINCIPAL PARTNER
After completing his Masters of Law in 1971, Mr Buttar was admitted to the NSW Supreme Court in 1984 as a Barrister, and opted to be re-admitted in 1989 as a Solicitor in the NSW Supreme Court. He enjoys teaching and has held positions with the University of Technology Sydney, James Cook University, LUMS, and Law College Lahore. Mr Buttar has run Buttar, Caldwell & Co. successfully for 25 years, and looks forwards to the strong, successful future of his established firm.
Mr Buttar has also previously worked as an accountant, and served as a Specialist Reserve Officer with the RAAF. Outside of work, Mr Buttar enjoys golf and has been a member of Carnarvon Golf Club for over 20 years, playing 18 holes at-least twice per week.
