Buttar, Caldwell & Co. Solicitors opened its doors on 1 November 2000 on Level 3 of 301 Castlereagh Street, Sydney NSW 2000. The opening of the firm was conducted by Ms Hilary Caldwell, the widow of the late Mr Bill Caldwell QC (in whose honour ‘Caldwell’ is named) and the late Gen Ihsan Malik. Mr Buttar has also managed a firm in Lahore, Pakistan and worked in his family firm Buttar & Buttar Advocates.
In March 2001 Ms Wajiha Ahmed joined the firm whilst studying for her LL.B as a legal clerk. In 2002 Ms Ahmed joined the ranks of her father, Mr Buttar and her late grandfather Mr Anwar Buttar and was admitted to practice in the New South Wales Supreme Court.
Throughout the years the firm prides itself in providing quality legal advice and services to their clients and maintaining a professional approach with members of the fraternity and public.
